Parisian Ham and Cheese Grilled Sandwiches

  • 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese, like French Gruyere
  • ¾ cup chopped ham
  • ½ tsp dry mustard
  • ¼ tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp sour cream
  • 8 slices of bread, like a rustic French bread
  • Heat a Panini grill or skillet to medium
  • In a medium bowl, combine the shredded Swiss, chopped ham, dry mustard and Worcestershire sauce
  • Add in the sour cream to help hold the mixture together
  • Spread the ham and cheese mixture on 4 slices of the bread and top with the remaining slices
  • Spray the grill (or skillet) with cooking spray and place the sandwiches on the grill to toast. Spray the top side of the sandwiches with cooking spray
  • Brown over medium heat until lightly crisp
  • Cut in half or from corner to corner and serve
