  • 2 ¼ cups flour
  • 2 ½ tsps baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 ¾ cups packed brown sugar
  • ¾ cup (1 ½ sticks) butter, softened
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Spray a 9”x13” baking dish with cooking spray
  • Combine the flour, baking powder and salt in a small bowl
  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the brown sugar, butter and vanilla until creamy
  • Add the eggs one at a time to the mixing bowl and allow each to be incorporated before adding the next
  • Gradually add in the flour mixture a little at a time until well incorporated
  • With a rubber spatula, fold in the chocolate and butterscotch chips
  • Pour the batter into the baking dish
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean when inserted into the middle of the dish
  • Cool the blondie bars and cut into small squares using a plastic knife
