- 2 ¼ cups flour
- 2 ½ tsps baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 ¾ cups packed brown sugar
- ¾ cup (1 ½ sticks) butter, softened
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup butterscotch chips
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Spray a 9”x13” baking dish with cooking spray
- Combine the flour, baking powder and salt in a small bowl
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the brown sugar, butter and vanilla until creamy
- Add the eggs one at a time to the mixing bowl and allow each to be incorporated before adding the next
- Gradually add in the flour mixture a little at a time until well incorporated
- With a rubber spatula, fold in the chocolate and butterscotch chips
- Pour the batter into the baking dish
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean when inserted into the middle of the dish
- Cool the blondie bars and cut into small squares using a plastic knife
